About

EST. 2024

An engineering lab,
sample size of one.

Dauntless Systems is the operating name for a portfolio of engineering work spanning spacecraft architecture, planetary robotics, hardware, and AI infrastructure. It runs out of a homelab on the Front Range, on a single AMD V620 with too many fans and a stack of disks that have already paid for themselves in not-having-to-call-anyone hours.

The premise is simple: most of the engineering that matters gets built by people working at the wrong scale — too small to be heard, too large to risk. The projects here exist because the alternative was watching them not get built. A few are toys. A few are serious. One or two might become a business; which is still TBD.

The site is, deliberately, a working document. Project pages get written as the work clears the bar. Statuses are honest. Nothing here is shipped because it's done — it's shipped because it works.

01What this site is for

Portfolio

A place to point at the work, in detail, without making anyone read twelve READMEs.

Working canvas

Interactive demos, design graphs, and tooling will be embedded directly as the projects mature.

A door

If something here is useful to you — to hire, to fund, to build with — the front door is info@dauntless.systems.
